Vancouver B.C.
with the inscription B.C. Printing & Engr. Corp. Ltd, Vancouver
This postcard, having had its stamp removed, shows remnants of a Vancouver CDS postmark dated February 23, 1901. It has been sent to Lessines, Belgium, and has a partial Lessines receiving cancel. The card shows two views, “English Bay and the Pavilions” and “In Stanley Park” and is part of a series of post cards from that company.
The B.C. Printing & Engr. Corp. Ltd. arose from a name change in 1899 from the The Province Publishing Coy. Ltd. As can be seen, the designs established by The Province Publishing Coy. Ltd. have been carried through under B.C. Printing & Engr. Corp. Ltd.
