This postcard comes from W.G. MacFarlane’s Series 8A (according to the naming convention used in Michael J. Smith’s The W.G. MacFarlane Picture Postcard Handbook, 1902–1910), showing a Yukon coloured heraldic crest, and a scene from Skagway, Alaska. The card is a design not listed in Smith’s Handbook, and is also postmarked a year earlier than the earliest reported postmark noted in the Handbook.
