Showing the Queen’s Royal Hotel in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario from the water side

The Queen’s Royal Hotel was a luxury hotel, built about 1866. It heralded Niagara’s first tourist boom, which lasted until WWI. The hotel was demolished in the 1930s, however the town acquired the site for a public park. Queen’s Royal Park exists on the former hotel site to this day.
